A++ I called to get a quote on Thursday around 4:30 and they were here to change my windshield by 10:00 Friday Morning. The installers were incredibly friendly and intelligent not to mention speedy fast. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to do the complete replacement in the time they did not to mention the cheapest around that I could find for quality work. I would recommend to anyone. Cannonism - "under promise and over deliver." Thanks guys for doing excellent work.

Car Windshield
The car windshield or just plain windshield is the primary auto glass part on any vehicle. Simply explained the car windshield is a piece of material used to "shield" the driver (and passengers) of a vehicle from the air or wind that is created when traveling in an automobile; a front window. However today's windshields are much more than just a shield for the wind. The w-i-n-d-s-h-i-e-l-d spelled "ie" not windsheild as can be commonly mistaken, as well as "win" like in winshield or "windscreen" in English use. The windshield is made of not only glass but also plastic. The auto glass part consists of laminated safety glass; a "sandwhich" of two peices of glass surrounding a peice of plastic held together with glue. This technology became a standard in the 1920's thanks to Henry Ford and French invention.
The windshield is permenantly affixed to the vehicle's frame, called a pinch-weld. More than just a screen from wind the windshield is one of the major safety devices on a car as well as a shield from stones, insects, debris and ultraviolet light. Some windshields employ advanced technology taking its usefulness to the next level: heads up displays, solar coating, highbeam glare reduction, heating elements, condensation sensors, rain sensors, and night vision are becoming common place. Specially designed adhesives called urethane is used to create a molecular bond between the vehicles frame and the glass. If this bond is broken it can negatively influence the rollover safety of vehicle as well as deployment of airbags.
Mobile Glass takes the use of correct urethane very seriously and currently we will only use Sika brand 220 urethane. This is not the industry standard, quite contrary Sika 220 is a much higher quality product which has noticably reduced our warranty work and increased confidence in our superior service. The cost of Sika is actually twice that of standard urethanes that other auto glass companies use, yet our prices are still lower; we are doing our part to truly deliver a high quality product for a lower price.
Truck Windshield
The truck windshield can be used to describe both personal pickup truck windshields and commercial trucks. For the purpose of avoiding redundancy let's refer to the previous passage to understand the personal or pickup truck windshield and use this section for the commercial truck windshield. Most commerical trucks actually have two windshield glass parts, a "split" windshield. Because the span of the cab is much wider than passanger vehicles the commercial truck windshield can be massive when designed as one piece. Thanks to kind designers most tractors like Frieghtliners, Mack, and others have adopted the split design. Due to the nature of their business commercial truck drivers need to have their broken windshields replaced immediately. Mobile Glass can be the only choice for most commercial truck owners. Our business is designed to provide fast mobile service to your location so that you can meet all of your professional deadlines.
