Windshield Installer – Replacement/Repair for Auto Glass
Minimum Requirements:
3 years experience working solo; competent with passenger vehicles & commercial trucks, windshields, door glass, back glass, quarters & vents
3 References; previous employers, managers, or customers
Must Have Tools; glass rack in good condition, vehicle-mounted power inverter, vacuum, powered extractor, drill, rivets & gun and broom in addition to other basic glass installation tools.
Work vehicle (truck or van) in good working order; valid state reg/insp, insurance, license
Preferred Requirements:
10 years experience overall
Experience sub-contracting
Accepts credit/debit cards (Square, Here, etc)
Windshield Repair (chips)
Experience working mobile
Covering only portion of DFW is fine (ie Fort Worth only or Dallas only)
Mastery of the English language
Available Saturdays
Musts:
Maintain less than 5% error of completed work
Fix mistakes/errors within 24 hours notice (not weekends)
Maintain a polite disposition and professional appearance at all times
Properly communicate with dispatch team for arrival times and availability while on the go
Ensuring you meet or exceed agreed deliverables barring emergencies
Inspect each part prior to accepting it from warehouse
